Overview
Real Presence Radio (RPR) is seeking an enthusiastic individual to increase awareness and help our listeners become active members of the AM 970 RPR Family. The successful candidate will have strong sales and communication skills and be able to demonstrate an ability to help grow support for the mission of RPR. The position will require local travel and a flexible schedule.
Qualifications:
- Living a lifestyle that does not violate the teachings and beliefs of the Roman Catholic Church, according to the Catechism of the Catholic Church.
- Firm commitment to the mission of RPR and its identity as a Catholic ministry.
- Thorough knowledge of the Roman Catholic Church and the Catholic faith, and a willingness to defend, explain and promote the same.
- Excellent sales and communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, planning, technology and organizational skills
Primary Task:
- Call, visit and build relationships with listeners and donors
- Travel throughout the Diocese to promote listenership and support of RPR
- Have booth/attend Catholic events
- Give talks at a parish at least one weekend per month
- Co-host and help produce weekly RP Live show and scheduled hours during radio pledge drives
- Coordinate annual banquet table hosts and sponsors
- Coordinate matching gifts and gift cards for two annual radio pledge drives
- Help coordinate local outreach and marketing efforts
- Help identify and approach potential programming underwriters
- Other duties as assigned
