Catholic Charities of Southern Minnesota is seeking qualified candidates for a part-time (24 hours/week) Information Technology (IT) Specialist.  This position manages the day-to-day functions of using technology including, but not limited to network, email, and various hardware and software systems.  This position also serves as the liaison between Catholic Charities and its IT service and support contractors.  Oversees the maintenance and backing up of all IT system data and archives. 

This position requires an Associate’s degree in IT, office operations, or related field plus two to four years of experience.  Ability to use Microsoft Office programs. Must have an affinity for multi-tasking and for interacting with IT hardware and software.  Great attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality of information.  Ability to communicate information in a direct and straightforward manner without excessive use of technical terms.
