Position Overview
The Business Office Manager is responsible for posting all vacant positions, processing applications, and
coordinating human resource paperwork for new and substitute employees. This position is also responsible
for the day-to-day operations of the central office such as ordering and reception. The business office manager
also coordinates the Raise Right (formerly known as SCRIP) program.


? Human resources:

? Post job openings to school website and external job boards
? Coordinate new employee paperwork, orientation and training
? Manage substitute employee list and their personnel files
? Support annual contract and work agreement renewal and open enrollment for Diocesan
? Serve as contact for employees with benefit and payroll questions

? Office management:

? Greets and welcomes visitors and answers general phone inquiries
? Oversee overall operations of central office including ordering of supplies, organizing storage
and coordinating with third-party cleaners
? Provides event support and organization
? Processes central office invoices for payment

? Raise Right (SCRIP):

? Facilitates all gift card purchases and sales both online and in person and documents in
? Invites and informs families of the tuition rebate program
? Provides monthly report to system accountant
? Prepares reports for schools and individual family purchases
? Delivers orders to schools and/or parishes
? Works with the Director of Communications to promote and inform families of the tuition
rebate program

Qualifications and Skills
? High school education or its GED equivalent with a two year degree in accounting or business related
? Two years minimum employment experience in a business related field.
? Proficiency with Google Suite and data entry and management.
? Superior organizational skills and attention to detail.
? Positive, friendly disposition, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work well with
multiple stakeholders. (i.e.: parents and employees).
