Position Summary:
The Development Database Coordinator (DDC) supports the fundraising goals of Rochester Catholic Schools and works with internal and external partners to ensure the ongoing optimization and maintenance of our fundraising database, Raiser’s Edge. This position serves as an integral member of the Department of Development overseeing all aspects of its donor relations database, gift processing and reconciliation, and events. The DDC will assist the Development Director in identifying prospects for major and principal gift cultivation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Raiser’s Edge Administration
? Lead staff member for Raiser’s Edge within the Department of Development
? Streamline workflows to help create efficiencies and maximum utilization of Raiser’s Edge
? Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor records including contact information, giving history, community affiliations and relationships
? Track data for special events, speaker series, and alumni
Program and Special Event Management
• Establish invite and RSVP system and communication for events
• Create campaigns in Raiser’s Edge to track participation and streamline communication to participants
• Develop invite lists for alumni relations, admissions, and development teams
Gift Processing
? Daily entry of all gifts and deposits in Raiser’s Edge
? Donor recognition management through thank you letters, gift acknowledgment and tax documents
? Create and manage pledge receivables
? Assist in identification of donors for major gift cultivation
Development Team Member
? Contribute to the creation of the annual development plan as needed
? Supports development activities and events
? Other duties as needed

Typical Physical Requirements for This Position:
? This position may require some lifting and moving of materials or office equipment usually less than 10 pounds

? Bachelor’s degree preferred
? 1+ years of Raiser’s Edge NXT or similar database experience
? 1+ years of Google Office Suite, Google Sheets, or Excel abilities
