Saint Vincent de Paul North Central Region opens registration for annual meeting


ROCKFORD, IL - The North Central Region of the Society of St. Vincent DePaul has opened registration for its annual regional meeting. The 2017 meeting will be hosted by the Rockford Council of St. Vincent DePaul. The meeting's theme is “Hearts and Hands in God’s Service,” and it will be held on June 22 to 24, 2017, at the Pheasant Run Resort (4051 East Main Street) in St. Charles, IL. Registration is $135 which includes materials and 5 meals. Registration can be completed at Accommodations are available at the resort with a special rate of $115 plus 11% tax. Many workshops will be available, and participants will have the opportunity to meet Vincentians from across the Midwest.

The Society is one of the largest Catholic lay organizations in the world. Vincentians are located worldwide and headquartered in Paris, France. The US headquarters is located in St. Louis, MO. Most of the society's conferences are parish-based, and their mission is to provide assistance to those in need. They make home visits to those in need to evaluate how they can help.

The North Central Region includes dioceses in North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, and Illinois.
